Oobleck Scientific Convention Held in Ms. Miller's 5th Grade Class

Ms. Betty Miller's 5th graders explored Ooblecks as part of a cross curricular study in Literature, Economics and Science.   Their inquiry based investigation culminated with a spacecraft design challenge. 

"Our scientists want to explore Planet Oobleck and collect samples, but they need to design a spacecraft that can land safely on its sticky surface for 30 seconds and take back off without extensive damage to the craft.  We are integrating this with economics and each team will act as an Aeronatuic company presenting a bid to build their aircraft for the project." - Ms. Miller
