Happenings at SVS
SVS gladly accepts an $8,000.00 Educational Tax Credit from McDonald's of Saipan for it's fundraising efforts. Garapan Elementary School came in 2nd, and San Antonio took the 3rd place. Way to go Canaries!!
Did you know that SVS Young Farmer's grow strawberries? I found this little beauty on my desk this afternoon. We grow cucumbers, papaya, tomatoes, strawberries, green beans, tapioca, zinnias, sunflowers, oregano, basil, and the list goes on and on. I mustn't forget the tilapia, we raise tilapia too!
These strawberries grow in the hydroponics lab and are deep red (no photoshopping here) and very sweet.

Congratulations to James Cameron!
The students of Ms. Ana Guerrero and Ms. Annabelle Sanchez, along with all the students at San Vicente Elementary School, wish to congratulate James Cameron for diving the Marianas Trench in the Deepsea Challenger! You got to see a part of our big back yard we'd never be able to learn about without scientist like you. On behalf of our entire school family, we invite you to visit our classrooms and share your experience with us.
